You’re Doing It Wrong: Part II Agronomist’s Warnings

If you haven’t been living under a rock you surely have heard from every agronomist you know about imbibitional chilling injury on corn and soybeans. Every year at the first chance we get to talk about it you see and hear stories from literally everyone telling you it’s wrong to plant ahead of cold weather. Maybe this approach is wrong, and just maybe agronomists should be advising instead of sounding alarms. Don’t get caught in the trap where you feel the need to tell everyone who will listen what they are doing is wrong.
